Social media marketing

Followers don't pay. Saves and shares do.

A follower count is the easiest number on social to grow and the least useful one to own. We optimise for the signals that actually predict a sale — saves, shares, profile taps and the messages that follow — and we report those instead.

Five platforms, five different jobs.

The same post does not work everywhere, and pretending it does is why most accounts stall. Switch platform to see what we actually make there and what it returned.

●02 · What it builds

Reach spikes. Audience compounds.

These two lines behave completely differently, and confusing them is the most common mistake in social reporting. Reach is spiky — one post lands and the month looks incredible. Followers are slow and almost boring, and they are the part you keep.

  • A viral month is not a strategy. We look at the trend under the spikes.
  • If reach climbs and followers don't, the content is entertaining strangers.
  • If both climb and enquiries don't, the offer isn't in the content.

●03 · How it actually works

The first three seconds decide it.

Short-form platforms don't distribute a video because it's good. They distribute it because people kept watching — and the measurement that matters most is hook rate: the share of viewers still there three seconds in.

Below about 45% the platform stops showing it to new people, and no amount of budget or hashtags rescues it. Above 65% it keeps pushing. That single threshold is why we rewrite openings, cut the first two seconds off almost everything, and test three hooks on the same footage rather than making three videos.

It also means a rough clip with a strong opening beats a polished one that takes four seconds to get going — which is usually the opposite of what a brand's instincts say.

●04–06 · Running it

The part that isn't making the content.

Most accounts fail on consistency and follow-up rather than on creative. These are the three things that fix that.

When they're online

Your audience, not a generic best-time-to-post chart. Posting into a dead hour wastes the work that went into it.

●How we work

The order we do it in.

Posting daily on five platforms is how agencies burn a retainer. We'd rather be excellent on two.

01

Most businesses are spread across five platforms and good on none of them. We look at where your customers genuinely spend time and what they're doing there, then pick two — occasionally three. Being excellent on two beats being present on five, and it costs less to sustain.

02

One brilliant post is worth very little. What compounds is a recognisable format your audience learns to expect — a series, a recurring answer, a behind-the-scenes slot. We find two or three that suit how you actually work, so production is a session in the diary rather than a scramble.

03

A month's content in one session, edited natively for each platform rather than one video resized four ways, and scheduled into the hours your audience is actually online. Consistency is what the algorithms reward, and batching is the only way most businesses can sustain it.

04

Comments and DMs are handled as part of the service, not billed as an extra. Someone asking what something costs is a lead with its hand up — and the reply speed decides whether you get it. Anything we can't answer gets passed to you with the context attached.

05

Every week we look at hook rate, saves, shares and the enquiries that followed. Formats that hold attention get made again; the ones that don't get dropped without sentiment, however much anyone liked making them. That loop is what turns a feed into a channel.

●The rest of it

Attention is the start. Not the finish.

Social creates demand. These are what we use to catch it, and what stops it evaporating.

01

Search engine optimisation

Catches the people who saw you on social and then went and Googled you — which most of them do.

02

Pay-per-click

Puts budget behind the organic posts that already proved they work, instead of guessing at new creative.

03

Social media

Content made in-house for each platform, scheduled properly, with the inbox actually answered.

You're here
04

Email marketing

Moves an audience you rent from a platform onto a list you own, which no algorithm change can take away.

05

Content creation

The long-form pieces each short post is cut from, so one shoot feeds a month of the calendar.

06

Web development

The page the bio link points at — where the attention either converts or quietly leaves.
